The present study evaluates the priorities and examines the relationships among the dimensions of human resource retention in the National Iranian Oil Company. The statistical population includes 17,059 official and contractual employees working at the central headquarters and subsidiaries of the company, from which a sample of 376 individuals was randomly selected using Cochran’s method, and ultimately 473 questionnaires were collected and analyzed. The prioritization of dimensions and components was carried out using the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) method and the Super Decisions software. Additionally, to investigate the relationships among the dimensions of human resource retention, a researcher-made questionnaire consisting of 93 items was used. The reliability of the questionnaire was calculated as 0.94 using Cronbach’s alpha and analyzed with SPSS software. The main study dimensions include job attitudes, quality of work life, empowerment, and motivation. Results showed that the motivation dimension, having the highest weight, is of particular importance, and significant relationships exist among the proposed dimensions, which should be considered in human resource policymaking. The findings of this study can be effective in improving employee retention strategies and increasing organizational productivity in the National Iranian Oil Company.
