The aim of the present study was to identify the factors affecting the synergy of managers in the Iranian oil industry holdings. The present study was applied in terms of its purpose and descriptive in terms of its data collection method, and was conducted with a qualitative approach. The research population consisted of managers in the Iranian oil industry, 15 of whom were selected through a judgmental method and with the criterion of theoretical data saturation. Thematic analysis was used to analyze the data obtained from semi-structured interviews. After conducting interviews and implementing texts, 31 basic themes were obtained regarding factors affecting managers' synergy, and in the next stage, 10 organizing themes were extracted from them. The final result of the research showed that the factors affecting coordination in the Iranian oil industry's headlining included: structural and organizational factors, cultural and managerial factors, factors related to leadership style, factors related to information technology, technical and resource factors, external factors, factors related to knowledge and resource sharing, factors related to communications and information systems, factors related to cooperation between companies and institutions, and factors related to international cooperation.
