Evidence shows that lifestyle and human choices are the main factors in global crises of resource scarcity and environmental problems. The aim of the present study is to present a pattern of sustainable organizational behavior of employees in the National Iranian Oil Company. This study is developmental-applied in terms of its outcome. The research population includes managers and deputy human resources managers of the oil company, 14 of whom were selected using purposive and snowball sampling methods and based on the principle of theoretical adequacy. The data collection tool is a systematic study and semi-structured interview, and the coding method of content analysis was used to analyze the data. The results indicate that sustainable organizational behavior includes the comprehensive theme of sustainable economic, social, and environmental behavior. Also, the drivers of sustainable behavior include internal and external dimensions. Also, themes related to obstacles and consequences of sustainable behavior were counted.
