Economic dependence to oil revenues has been causes of Iranian economic fluctuations and in last years, applying international sanctions has created more problems for Iran. So, the government has adopted a new policy to solve this problem. Base on the new policy, crude oil sale must be stopped to 2035 and instead of that, maximizing added value through increase in exporting petrochemicals products and oil products be achieved. because of complexity of oil issues and uncertainty about the futures, old long term planning methods are not reliable anymore and Decision making and planning for future have got much more difficult. In this circumstance Future studies methods can be facilitator. Identifying key factors, driving forces, uncertainties and scenarios can help policy makers to make robust decisions. So, this research set to Identifying the driving forces for scenarios of stopping crude oil sale to 2035
