Abstract:   (70 Views)
The present study aims to Pathology the process of turnover intention of employees working within natural gas supply areas (line unit) to staff units in the Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari Province Gas Company and seeks some solutions for its improvement. The participants are selected from those gas supply area employees with more than 5 years of work experience who already have been displaced, are in the process of being displaced, or intend to do so. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews and data analysis was performed using Clark's situation analysis method, and a set of discourses and categories that affect the turnover intention were identified. The findings show that the lack of a clear career path, lack of sense of justice in the relocations and appointments process, the influence of political factors, restrictions on career promotion, and difficulties in the working atmosphere of gas supply areas are among the main reasons for the increase in turnover intentions. The results of this study emphasize on the importance of designing human resource management practices, such as determining tenure, clarifying relocation and appointment processes, and reducing the influence of political factors. Finally, the findings of the study emphasize on the urgent need to adopt a comprehensive approach that, in addition to reforming human resource policies, redefines the role of management structures and reduces the impact of external interventions in organizational decision-making.
