Identifying the causal factors causing organizational depression with the mediating role of negative job attitude and the intervention of environmental factors on its consequences in Iranian Offshore Oil Company

The present study was conducted with the aim of identifying the causal factors that cause organizational depression with the mediating role of negative job attitude and the intervention of environmental factors on its consequences in Iranian Offshore Oil Company. In terms of the practical purpose, this research was a descriptive survey in terms of the data collection method in a sample of 385 employees of the Tehran headquarters of Iranian Offshore Oil Company.The data were collected using a questionnaire including seven variables, 20 components and 125 measures and were analyzed through confirmatory factor analysis tests and structural equations of the model data.The results indicated the confirmation of the relationship between organizational depression and job dissatisfaction, individual and organizational factors, negative job attitude and consequences of organizational depression. The greatest impact of job dissatisfaction on organizational depression has been through negative job attitude. According to the findings, among all research components, weak incentive systems with a coefficient of 0.975 had the highest effect on the incidence of organizational depression.
