Structural problems are one of the main reasons behind the country's backwardness in the development and production of oil and gas from the common South Pars field. The purpose of this article is to present the strategic (conceptual) model of the macro structure of the sustainable development of Pars Energy Special Economic Zone in order to help solve structural problems. at first, the background and theoretical literature of the subject were reviewed, second, as a comparative study, the organizational structure study was conducted on 15 international oil and gas companies, And after that, a survey was distributed among 60 managers and experts related to the oil activities of the region. In the research process, the model obtained from the theoretical and comparative studies, with some necessary modifications, was localized and finalized with the needs and requirements of the sustainable development of oil and gas in the region. The strategic (conceptual) model of the macro structure obtained, with a systemic approach based on the oil and gas value chain of the region, includes the main, support, and management processes, as well as three structural layers: strategic, support, and main, as well as their components and connections.
