Investigation and presentation of blockchain deployment model in international contracts of oil and gas industry

The purpose of this study is to review and present the pattern of blockchain deployment in oil and gas industry contracts to provide the necessary basis for assessing the readiness of the oil and gas industry to accept blockchain technology. In this study, the qualitative method of basic data (content analysis of articles and documents and open coding) and the quantitative method of questionnaire have been used to determine the antecedents and outcomes of blockchain deployment. In a small part, the statistical population includes managers and information technology experts of East Azerbaijan Gas Company. The collected data were analyzed by a questionnaire using smart pals structural equation analysis method. According to this the results show that the consequences of block chain organizational factors, environmental factors and technical factors) and also intervening factors (internal and external) affect the establishment of blockchain in the oil and gas industry.
