The aim of this study is to develop a strategic PR plan for the oil industry on Horizon 1407, which was done with the AFI approach. The program is inspired by the hanger - Whelan strategic planning model (AFI), first, the internal environment (strengths and weaknesses) and the external environment (opportunities and threats), second, the development of direction-building elements (vision, mission and value), the long-term public relations goals of the oil industry. The strategic position of the public relations of the oil industry was determined using the tools of the internal and external factors assessment matrix (IE), the internal and external factors Matrix (SWOT), as well as the alignment of the matrices (IE) and (SWOT). According to the strategic position obtained, the public relations strategies of the mining industry and the strategy implemented were prioritized by the SDM Strategic Decision Matrix method. At the end, guidelines were provided for the implementation and drafting of the operational plan. The realm of this research is the public relations of the oil industry.
